Terms of Service

Terms and conditions for our renovation services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Dicersafa ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.

2. Description of Services

Dicersafa provides professional renovation services including but not limited to:

  • Tiling services (bathroom, kitchen, commercial)
  • Plastering and wall preparation
  • Floor screeding and preparation
  • Complete home and commercial renovations
  • Consultation and project management services

All services are subject to separate written contracts and agreements.

3. Service Agreement and Contracts

3.1 Quote and Acceptance

All renovation projects begin with a detailed quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue date unless otherwise specified. Work commences only after written acceptance of the quote and execution of a service agreement.

3.2 Scope of Work

The scope of work will be clearly defined in the service agreement. Any changes to the scope must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges.

3.3 Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on normal working conditions. Delays may occur due to weather, material availability, permit issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice for future projects.

4.2 Payment Schedule

Payment terms will be specified in the service agreement. Generally:

  • Deposit required before work commences
  • Progress payments as outlined in the agreement
  • Final payment upon completion and client approval

4.3 Late Payments

Late payments may incur interest charges at the rate of 1.5% per month. Work may be suspended for accounts overdue by more than 14 days.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 Access and Preparation

Clients must provide:

  • Safe and reasonable access to work areas
  • Removal of personal items from work areas
  • Necessary permits and approvals
  • Accurate information about existing conditions

5.2 Utilities and Services

Clients are responsible for ensuring access to necessary utilities (electricity, water, waste disposal) during the renovation period.

5.3 Communication

Clients should maintain open communication and promptly address any concerns or questions during the project.

6. Our Responsibilities and Standards

6.1 Quality Standards

We commit to:

  • Using quality materials and professional techniques
  • Completing work according to industry standards
  • Maintaining clean and safe work environments
  • Regular communication about project progress

6.2 Licensing and Insurance

We maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and insurance coverage as required by law.

7. Warranties and Guarantees

7.1 Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 12-month warranty on our workmanship from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in our installation and construction work.

7.2 Material Warranties

Material warranties are provided by manufacturers. We will assist in warranty claims where applicable.

7.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse or negligence
  • Modifications by others
  • Acts of nature or force majeure events

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the contract value of the specific project. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or indirect damages
  • Loss of use or business interruption
  • Damages exceeding the contract value
  • Pre-existing conditions not disclosed

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or material shortages.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and documentation created by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a license to use such materials for the specific project only.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We maintain confidentiality regarding your property and project details.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Good Faith Resolution

Both parties agree to attempt resolution of disputes through good faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.

12.2 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by Client

Clients may terminate services with written notice. Payment is due for all work completed to the termination date plus reasonable costs for materials ordered.

13.2 Termination by Company

We may terminate services for non-payment, breach of agreement, or unsafe working conditions. Clients remain liable for all work completed and costs incurred.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately for new projects. Existing projects remain governed by the terms in effect at contract signing.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

16. Safety and Compliance

All work is performed in compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. We maintain comprehensive safety protocols and require compliance from all team members.

17. Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to environmentally responsible practices including proper waste disposal, use of eco-friendly materials where possible, and compliance with environmental regulations.
